Edith specialises in family and matrimonial matters which she finds extremely meaningful. She has over a decade of experience in this area of practice and has acted in matters with varying complexity. Edith is committed to exploring constructive, amicable and long-term solutions for her clients.

Edith is concurrently a lecturer at the School of Law, Singapore University of Social Sciences, where she teaches Family Law, among other subjects.

Professional Experience 

Edith joined Tan Rajah & Cheah after being admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2010. She has acted in and advised clients on a wide range of matters including family and trust law, commercial law, employment law, professional negligence, intellectual property law, personal injury matters, landlord and tenancy disputes, wills, probate and letters of administration. In 2020, Edith joined the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) as a Lecturer, where she has taught Family Law, the Law of Property, Trial Advocacy, and Legal Methods and the Singapore Legal System. She was also involved in the development of the Family Therapeutic Justice Certification Programme organised by the Singapore Academy of Law. Since her academic appointment at SUSS, she has chosen to focus on the practice of family law and the development of this area of law.
